Birthing New Life Through Suffering

Birthing New Life Through Suffering

In this post, I am sharing the vision and words our Bridegroom gave to me earlier this month while I prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet with members of the Sisterhood of Mary, Mystical Rose of God. I ask that you would please read it prayerfully and keep praying for mercy and healing for all His Roses… the Roses that can only fully bloom when men and women recognize and respect the dignity of one another and their complementary relationship… God’s plan from the beginning.

Mary, Mystical Rose of God, enfold us all in your mantle of protection and comfort.

Love and prayers,
Laura 🌹

Yesterday, (September 1, 2020), as Jo, Brenda, Michele, and I prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet for all His Roses and the men whose thorns harm not protect them, Jesus spoke to me about and allowed me to share in the intense pain and sorrow of His Heart at the suffering of these souls… He described the suffering of His Living Roses as “labor pains of hearts birthing My Infinite Love.”

He showed me how His Blood gushes forth from His Wounded Side covering the world yet so many do not know of His Redeeming Sacrifice and do not allow His Most Precious Blood to flow upon them and into their souls…

He showed me the Hand of God prepared to enter the world with Justice being restrained by His Blood and our prayers and sufferings offered in union with His.

He kept saying “See, the bridal price has been paid. I shed My Blood for My Brides. The sacrificing of My Brides must end.” And when I asked Him then why do so many still have to suffer so greatly, He replied “The enemy… Adam turned his back on Eve and the enemy was allowed his time. Remember, the suffering would be much worse without Me, the True and Perfect Adam… without My Sacrifice and Grace… My protection…. and your prayers and sacrifices. Tell them to keep begging for My Father’s Mercy… pray, fast, sacrifice.”

Then I saw Jesus and Mary standing over the dark abyss of the world, arms outstretched and wrapping Our Lady of Guadalupe’s mantle around the whole world sealing His Precious Blood and Water over all that is.

The particular evils He showed me the effects of are pornography and all sexual sins, abuse and violence which grow from this evil root.

I so often wonder what might happen if more people “saw” what He shows me, even just to see how beautiful our souls are in a state of Grace and in union with Him, compared to the disfigured and darkened souls of those in sin. The distortion, disfigurement, the darkness worsens as the sins multiply (and they do). There is no such thing as just “a little sin,” just as there is no such thing as a “private sin.” All sin is an infidelity to our Bridegroom, our ever-faithful Spouse. His Heart aches as we choose sin over His Merciful Love. He so desires to restore the purity and light of our souls.

I just thank and praise Him for His great Love and patience with us. I tremble with fear every time He reminds me that if it was not for Him and His Beautiful Mother the suffering and darkness would be much worse. – Laura

What follows is a response from Hope, a member of the Sisterhood of Mary, Mystical Rose of God:

As I read Laura’s revelation from Jesus that her current sufferings are the birthing pains to His love, I recall the conversation of last Friday in my book study on St. John Paul II’s “On the Dignity and Vocation of Love.” We discussed that the results of original sin led to toil for Adam, and also a painful childbirth. While this is easy to understand, the meaning behind it has never been explained. Why a painful childbirth? Up to this point, there actually was no child born at all.

Laura’s message of suffering as birthing pains to God’s love, now puts Eve’s resulting pain in context. Just as birthing pains bring new life from our loving union in marriage, the suffering we endure in this fallen world is not a punishment, but birthing pains to new life in Christ Jesus. It is through suffering that we realize the lack of our self sufficiency, that we turn back to God, that we run to Him as children and beg for His love and help. Suffering causes us to let go of our pride, selfishness and ego, and step into our true and loving selves. The greater the suffering the greater that we give love freely, as seen in all tragedies with the pouring out of response by strangers.

The individual suffering in our lives is a time to give birth. To endure quietly and in prayer so that we can die to our old selves and give birth to a humble and generous heart fully relying on and connected to God. Though suffering is never a welcomed encounter, a new birth is. So as you come to your suffering, come to it with Christ as your birthing partner and Mary as your mid-wife. Let Jesus hold your hand and let Mary lead you through the breath of the Holy Spirit. Endure with patience, appreciation and expectation of the new life you will show God the Father. Be reborn in humility, in dependency, in gratitude of our life in God the Trinity. Let your occupation be Love, and in every step and action, let the intention be creating God’s kingdom on earth by the pouring out of love. Let us pour ourselves out, with Jesus’ love, upon every action and person met each day.

In this way, we can call ourselves Brides of Christ. We will be participating in the birthday of new life in Christ, new love upon the earth. We will be participants in creating the Father’s Kingdom on earth as prayer given to us by the Son. In this way we are all brides – all the church, men and women – as we suffer through the birthing pains of this suffering in the fallen world. Let us love. Let us love big. Let us love with all that we are, with all our mind, with all our heart and with all our strength. Amen.
