Domestic violence is a distortion of God’s design for marriage.

It is difficult to accept Christ as our Bridegroom when our experiences of love and marriage have not modeled the love of God. Christ wants to redefine what it means to be a bridegroom. He does not imitate flawed men; He calls men to imitate Him.

Hope’s Garden offers support, resources and community for women who have experienced domestic abuse.

Domestic violence is a hidden struggle for many, even within our faith communities. Learn more about the reality of domestic violence and how the Church can respond: Catholics Are Not Immune to Domestic Violence.
